Sunday for Children


Children are a important, beloved part of Wesley Memorial’s church family, and they are welcome to participate in worship and Bible study each Sunday morning.If you desire to make use of it, a safe & secure nursery for babies through children 3 years of age is provided (between 8:30-12 noon) in Room 101 of the Education building attached the Sanctuary. Two qualified nursery care workers will gladly care for your child while you worship, engaging them in play and learning opportunities. If children need specific essentials, we ask that parents plan to provide them. need to provide essentials for your child.
Every child must be signed in to the nursery by a parent or care provider, and pagers are available for parents to take with them to worship.

Children aged 4 years through 2nd grade are invited to participate in KIDS Worship during the worship service, if their parents or caregivers so desire. To begin with, children are invited to sit with parents and participate in the worship service, leaving at a designated time to continue participating in worship in their own classroom. Please check the bulletin (or overhead screen, if you are worshipping in the Lighthouse Service) for the time when children are invited to participate in KIDS Worship. Volunteers will lead children to their designated KIDS Worship classroom every week.

Children’s Sunday School is also available for children aged 2yrs – 5th grade. As with our nursery & KIDS Worship, parents must sign their child in and out of class.
