Kelli Kosuda Tingen

Position: Director of Children’s Ministries

Hello, friends! I’m Kelli, and I’m so thankful to be a part of the wonderful staff of Wesley Memorial. I was raised in the children’s ministry program here in the 90’s before my family moved to Goldsboro, NC. 18 years later, I’m excited to be back serving the children and families of our congregation.

After graduating from high school, I attended Mount Olive College to study music and religion. I attended seminary at Duke Divinity School, and am excited to be journeying toward ordination as a Deacon in the UMC. I have been a member of the United Methodist Church since birth and enjoy sharing my passion for our denomination’s doctrine and history with others.

I’m married to a fantastic guy who stole my heart at church camp many years ago. Larry is a math instructor at Cape Fear Community College and is an active volunteer in our conference youth ministries. Together we enjoy watching Duke Basketball, eating at local restaurants, staffing summer camp, and telling at least one of our four cats to stop scratching the couch.

When not hanging out with the children and families at Wesley, I love going to concerts with my sister, having meaningful conversations, drinking strong coffee, and eating tacos. But not coffee and tacos together. Because gross.

I look forward to getting to know you!
