Wonderful Wednesdays will continue through March 27 with a catered meal from Middle of the Island Restaurant at 5:30 pm in the Activity Building Gym and Bible study at 6:30 pm. Each week’s menu will be placed in Sunday’s bulletin the week prior. There is a suggested donation of $7.00 for each meal. You must RSVP for the meal by filling out the Connect Card on Sunday or by calling the church office by noon on Monday. Participants are also asked to convey if you have a need for childcare so that arrangements can be made. The classes offered this session are:
One Faithful Promise study series led by Rev. Beth Hood will focus upon setting our intentions to fortify our resolve in making a faithful promise to God through Wesleyan Covenant Renewal. This study of the book, One Faithful Promise by Magrey R. deVega will be an in-depth examination of The Wesley Covenant Prayer and the steps that we can take to counter our tendency to keep God at a safe distance. Participants will need to secure a copy of One Faithful Promise (Participants Guide) by Magrey R. deVega. This study will meet in Room 306 of the Activity Building.
Five Means of Grace led by Rev. Adam Baker will explore Dr. Elaine Heath’s small, rich and wonderful book, Five Means of Grace: Experience God’s Love the Wesleyan Way. This study will focus upon how Jesus invited His followers to take part in five spiritual practices and knowing that through the participation in these things, those who loved Him would experience the grace of God. This study will meet upstairs in room 210 of the Sanctuary Building.
Eternity is Now in Session study series, led by
